Shana Lander

Shana Lander is the choir teacher at Anthony Middle School in Manhattan, Kansas. Before that, she taught K-6 elementary general music for thirteen years. Shana received her Bachelor of Science in music education from Wayne State College, Wayne, NE and her Master’s of Music in flute performance from Kansas State University. She is also the assistant play and musical director at AMS. Shana is married to Nick, her husband of 15 years, and has two daughters, Ellis, 14 and Evyn, 11. Shana believes that music education is essential and can bring joy, deep meaning and a sense of purpose to people’s lives
